My cousin Gene and his friend Luc invited us on a sailing trip to Bequia. It had always been my dream to sail through the Grenadines. How lucky am I to have cousins in the Caribbean? We had a brilliant few days – fuelled by Katherine’s excellent rum punch and Gene’s guitar playing.  This is a view of Soufrieres, the old capital of St Lucia. We only stopped for a short time on the way to our first mooring in St Vincent – we had to arrive before it got dark, so I had to work quickly.
